Need storage, refrigeration, or freezer space?

The operator remains responsible for maintenance, repair, cleaning, food stored inside, and removal of the equipment when the arrangement ends, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Scheduling service visits
All commissary visits must be scheduled.
Operators must arrive during approved service windows and complete servicing within the time allowed.
Scheduled visits may include water fill, gray-water disposal, trash disposal, and approved sink access for servicing.
Operators are expected to leave the servicing area clean, safe, and ready for the next user.
Unscheduled visits are not allowed unless approved by The Q.
Why use The Q as your commissary base?
A mobile food business needs more than a good menu.
It also needs a dependable base of operations.
The Q may help approved mobile food operators by providing:
- a downtown Boaz location
- permitted commissary support
- basic servicing options
- documentation support
- access to kitchen production time if needed
- possible retail pickup opportunities if approved
- a practical place to start and grow
For some operators, commissary service may be all they need.
For others, The Q may become a broader support system — commissary, kitchen prep, smoker access, storage, or even a future retail pickup opportunity.
The first step is understanding what your mobile operation actually needs.
The first step is a tour
If you operate a food truck or trailer — or are preparing to launch one — the first step is a conversation and tour.
When you contact us, please tell us:
- your name
- your phone number
- what kind of food truck or trailer you operate
- whether you are already permitted or preparing to launch
- what commissary services you need
- how often you expect to service your unit
- whether you also need kitchen prep or production time
- whether you need storage, refrigeration, or freezer space
- your expected start date
We will review your needs and determine whether The Q is a good fit.
