A Dependable Commissary Base for Mobile Food Operators
The Q provides scheduled commissary support for approved food trucks, food trailers, BBQ rigs, drink trailers, dessert trailers, and other mobile food operators in the Boaz area.
If you need a dependable place for fresh water fill, gray-water disposal, reasonable trash disposal, used cooking-oil disposal, basic servicing, and commissary documentation support, The Q may be a practical base for your mobile food business.
This path is for mobile food operators who need commissary support — not full kitchen production time, storage, retail sales, or unscheduled facility access.
If you also need to prepare, cook, package, or stage food at The Q, we can discuss adding Kitchen Access to your commissary arrangement.
Who Food Truck Commissary Service Is For
The Q’s commissary service may fit:
- Food trucks
- Food trailers
- BBQ trailers or rigs
- Taco trailers
- Coffee or drink trailers
- Lemonade setups
- Dessert trailers
- Mobile catering units
- Event food vendors
- Operators preparing to launch a mobile food business
If your mobile food operation needs a permitted commissary base, scheduled servicing, or commissary documentation, this lane may be the right place to begin.
What Commissary Service Includes
Commissary service gives approved mobile food operators scheduled access to specific support services at The Q.
Depending on your approved unit and arrangement, commissary service may include:
- Fresh water fill
- Gray-water disposal
- Reasonable trash disposal
- Used cooking-oil disposal, if applicable and approved
- Access to appropriate sinks or servicing areas
- Commissary documentation support
- Scheduled service visits
- A dependable commissary location connected to a permitted food facility
Commissary service is scheduled in advance. The Q is a shared facility, so service visits must be coordinated with other facility use.

Which Plan Fits You?
If you operate only occasionally, attend a few events, or need limited scheduled servicing, Commissary Starter may be enough.
If you operate more regularly and need weekly or twice-weekly commissary support, Commissary Standard may be the better fit.
If you need more than basic commissary service — such as kitchen prep, cooking, storage, smoker access, chargrill use, or retail pickup — those services can be discussed separately.
What Commissary Service Does Not Include
Basic commissary service does not automatically include:
- Kitchen prep or cooking
- Use of cooking equipment
- Refrigerated storage
- Freezer storage
- Dry storage
- Smoker room access
- Lang wood-fired smoker use
- Chargrill use
- Public food sales from The Q
- Customer pickup or takeout service
- Unscheduled facility access
- Overnight parking
- Equipment storage
- Disposal of excessive trash or unusual waste
Some of these services may be available separately if approved.
If you need more than basic commissary service, we can discuss whether Kitchen Access, storage, smoker access, chargrill access, or another arrangement may fit your operation.
Kitchen Access for Mobile Operators
Some food truck or trailer operators need more than commissary service.
If you need to prep, cook, package, or stage food inside The Q’s commercial kitchen, you may also need Kitchen Access.
Kitchen Access is a separate lane with monthly tiers based on scheduled kitchen production hours.
This may be useful if you need to:
- Prep ingredients before service
- Cook or bake food in a permitted kitchen
- Package menu items
- Stage catering or event orders
- Use commercial kitchen equipment
- Produce food outside your truck or trailer
Basic commissary service supports your mobile unit. Kitchen Access supports food production.
Storage and Operator-Owned Equipment
Some operators may need storage, refrigeration, freezer space, dry storage, or a place to keep certain approved items between service visits.
Storage is not automatically included with basic commissary service.
Any storage, refrigeration, freezer space, dry storage, equipment storage, or operator-owned equipment kept at The Q must be discussed and approved separately.
The Q is a shared facility, so storage and equipment arrangements depend on available space, safety, compatibility with other operators, and the nature of your food business.
Shared Facility Expectations
The Q is a shared food-business facility.
To make that work, every operator must respect the space, the schedule, and the other operators.
Approved commissary operators are expected to:
- Use only approved areas
- Arrive during scheduled service times
- Follow health department requirements
- Dispose of water, trash, and oil only in approved ways
- Leave servicing areas clean
- Avoid blocking other operators
- Communicate clearly about scheduling needs
- Maintain required permits, licenses, insurance, or documentation
- Use the facility professionally and responsibly
Commissary service works best for operators who understand that a shared facility depends on communication, cleanliness, and respect.
