The Q is a permitted shared-use commercial kitchen and commissary in downtown Boaz, Alabama. We work with serious food operators who need kitchen production space, food truck commissary service, smoker or chargrill access, or a practical way to test a focused retail food concept.

What Kind of Operator Are You?

The Q may be useful if you are interested in one of these paths:

Kitchen Access / Production Only

For caterers, bakers, meal-prep operators, packaged-food producers, special-order food businesses, and others who need scheduled commercial kitchen time.

Food Truck Commissary

For food trucks, trailers, BBQ rigs, drink trailers, dessert trailers, taco trailers, coffee trailers, lemonade setups, and other mobile food vendors needing commissary support.

Retail Food Opportunities

For approved operators who want to prepare food at The Q and sell through scheduled pickup, preorder, takeout, or limited retail service.

Smoker or Chargrill Access

For operators who may need access to the smoker room, the 10-foot Lang wood-fired smoker, or chargrill capability as part of an approved food operation.

A tour is usually the best way to understand how The Q works, what areas of the facility may fit your operation, what equipment may be available, and what kind of arrangement may be appropriate.

The Q is a shared food-business facility, so all operators must be approved before using the space.
